searching with almost no constraints, playing with ideas, creatively seeking understanding.
Then, moving deeper and searching for a way to play freely within what is a known structure. only then we can term the rules of the game. Thinking design through play, I use creativity and free exploration as ways to forge better experiences across products. Imagination and storytelling are my instruments to create smarter products with new definitions and improved usability. Narratives help to provide shape and distinct characters to my products.
In my work I like to collaborate with others - designers, makers, creators - people who approach materials and technologies differently than the way I do. I find it both challenging and rewarding, it is a way for me to learn, to explore and to be inspired. I believe design, and specifically industrial design, involves processes and thinking for which collaborations and teamwork are ideal - this way of working together is both stimulating and functional, and creates a whole that is greater than its parts.
I strive to learn new skills, to ask new questions, and to keep finding better ways to do things.
To keep evolving as a designer, a teacher, a student.
